My first trip after the scamdemic restrictions lifted was to Mexico. A
direct flight to Puerto Vallarta and an uber (my first ever) to my hotel.
Walked around the Centro area.

I had booked a food tour started that started late in the morning. We went
to seven or eight places around the Romantica zone and had different food at
each one. By the end I was full.

Took the bus south to Boca De Tomatlan and did the hike to Playa Animas.
Rented a chair and umbrella on the beach and had lunch. Took boat back to
Boca and then bus back to PV. Stomach was feeling a bit off, but I went for
supper. Immediately afterwards starting feeling sick. Made it back to the
hotel and spent the night praying to the porcelain gods.

Spent day recovering.

Changed hotels. PV is a large place, and the past days were spent in the
Centro and Romantica areas. Now closer to the Marina. Also still recovering.

Walked to the Marina and explored the area. Spent a couple of hours reading
at the hotel pool.

|
Took the bus to Sayulita. I planned to take a surf lesson but the beach was
being used for a tournament so no lessons were offered.

Walked around a bit.

Walked north of Sayulita to a beach.

Bus back to PV airport, flew home. Overall not the greatest vacation. Aside
from the food poisoning, I didn’t find too much to do at both places I
visited.
